I was so stoked to receive this award from this major magazine in Brazil. A real honor. The photo that earned this award was taken in Tahiti on the best swell that hit the island in years! I am so happy that I was there at the right time and day to capture the best surfers in the world riding these spectacular waves - especially my friend Carlos Burle that rode this incredible wave.
